Fog Machine is a micropress and online journal currently based out of Portland and Daegu.
Using an innovative publishing model, our online journal circumvents the hierarchal editor-contributor model for one that more closely resembles a family tree. The poets and artists we publish determine who our next features will be, introducing them with a short note of introduction. Rather than Fog Machine being confined to the taste and network of the editors, the goal is the creation of an international community of creatives and thinkers. We are excited to watch this experiment unfold, and we hope you're right there with us.
We publish a small number of poetry collections every year, with distribution through Ingram. Our books are available at Powell's in Portland, Berl's Poetry Shop in Brooklyn, Malvern Books in Austin, Women & Children First in Chicago, Lithic Books in Fruita, as well as Amazon.com.
You may submit through submittable and email any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org
